Marc Gasol returned to the court for the Los Angeles Lakers in a loss against the Philadelphia 76ers. The 36-year-old center has not played since March 1 due to testing positive for Covid-19. According to the Lakers head coach Frank Vogel, the Spaniard, who had 5 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists in 15 minutes of play, did a good job.
“He was great. I’m not sure what his numbers — one for two — but his impact comes in a lot of different ways,” he said. “The IQ defensively. Had a couple great verticality plays at the rim to get us some stops. And just gives us a different dynamic offensively to play passing cut offense more with him quarterback and some of that stuff. So a good return for him.”
