Memphis Grizzlies were able to overcome a slow start vs. the Atlanta Hawks with Ja Morant getting one over fellow superstar guard Trae Young.

Morant has reacted to Memphis’ huge win after the game as he retweeted Kendrick Perkins’ praise for the Grizzlies, pointing out the stellar performance of Grayson Allen, who dropped 30 points on Wednesday.

The Grizzlies are on a four-game winning streak improving to 26-23 record, after Wednesday’s night win. Morant finished the contest against Atlanta with 17 points, seven rebounds and seven assists.

After the game, the Grizzlies’ superstar talked about the confidence that growing as his team is adding to its winning total this season.

Morant said the winning streak “gives us a lot of confidence. Not saying we were lacking that before. I feel it’s just showing us what we’re capable of.”

The Grizzlies hoping to take a leap this season, after missing the last postseason by one game as they fell to the more experienced Trail Blazers in the play-in tournament during the NBA season restart in Orlando last summer.
