New York Knicks are one of the surprising teams during the regular season campaign being among the top-5 teams in the Eastern Conference this year.

With that in mind, the New York franchise in bound to return to the postseason for the first time since 2013. Julius Randle seems to be the cornerstone in the franchise resurgence putting up All-NBA numbers.

However, the Knicks considered moving Randle at the March 25 trade deadline, according to Bleacher Report‘s Jake Fischer.

“The Knicks, at least briefly, did consider the notion of moving Randle at the deadline, sources said, when the first-time All-Star’s trade value may have reached its peak,” Fischer wrote.

Randle, a first time All-Star this season, is at the peak of his powers right now propelling the Knicks to their first playoff appearance in years.

He is averaging 24 points, 10.5 rebounds and six assists per game shooting an magnificent 41.6 percent from the three-point range.
