The Los Angeles Lakers have decided to waive guard Quinn Cook, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Cook has played in 16 games for the Lakers this season, averaging 2.1 points.
Per Charania, Quinn Cook, who is a two-time NBA Champion (2018, 2020), is expected to attract interest from several teams.
For their part, the Lakers now have two open spots in the roster. They are expected to pursue big man DeMarcus Cousins, who will part ways with the Houston Rockets in the coming days.
